The Gift of Chess is a 501(c)(3) charity

We started this charity in December 2020. During the height of the pandemic, we distributed 10,000 chess sets to students across New York City as a tool to help them reconnect physically during a difficult time of isolation. 

Since then, our mission has spread into a global initiative with the goal of donating 1 million chess sets by 2030.

Our chess sets reach schools, orphanages, prisons and community centers as a low-cost tool to spark incredible opportunity.
